Tallstar's Dawn Patrol

"Tallstar led his patrol out into the dewy moorland. Following him was his deputy, Onewhisker, and two of his strong warriors Crowfeather and Barkface. Their pelts being ruffled against the morning breeze, their healthy pelts gleaming in the sunlight. Tallstar's amber eyes showed excitement as he led the warriors into their moorland territory. He had been cooped up in the Windclan camp for a while and needed to stretch his legs. The patrol ran up the smooth slopes of the moorland and came to a stop at the top of a small hill. Tallstar jumped up onto a rock sticking up from the ground and flicked his tail. This sent his warriors in 3 different directions at once to search for prey. Tallstar stood on the rock, letting the wind whisper in his ears and ruffle his short, black and white fur, before leaping off the rock to scout the borders and hunt for rabbits to feed his clan.

xD I just wanted to make something up so I could have an excuse to write...don't mind mee~
Feline practice finished x.x This took SO long...like I don't know if I ever wanna draw another cat ever again xD This took me about 9 hours to complete from start to finish. Good thing I didn't speedpaint it! It doesn't look like something that should've taken 9 hours though xD I'm not even very pleased with it..the whole body, ears, eyes, and tail I'm okay with. The rest is just kinda bleh. Don't like the head shape and the background is just....ehhhh....not my best xD I do like the sky, though :3
I'd LIKE to do more Warriors fanart since I feel like I've improved since my last Warriors pictures (shown below) but I'd still like to get better. I feel like this was a good practice for me. I was out of my comfort zone COMPLETELY with this. The eyes are the best thing in this picture in my opinion c:
I didn't really know how to draw a "moorland" sort of background..but while reading the books I imagine it as like a meadow sort of "meerkat" territory xD I dunno don't listen to meeee..
Anyways, even though this took 9 hours over two days and it was a pain because I'm not very good at drawing felines, I have to admit it was kinda fun trying this. Now my eye is twitching after like 6 straight hours of working on this today
Now to go try and finish Dark River so I can read Outcast that came in the mail for me todayy x333 *loves getting mail*
Should I make a Warriors OC? I dunno if I should x'D
