This was a painting I did for my boyfriend, Austin! He's going to college to be an automotive technician and he currently has an internship at a Chevy dealership in my area. I'm so proud of him! He needed something for an empty spot on his wall above his gaming paradise, tv/ps3/mini fridge/etc., so I did this! Honestly, when I started this, I thought 5 hours TOPS...LOL NOPE. TRY 25 HOURS.

The letters took SO much time. Between getting his top 4 (Silverado, Duramax, Camaro, and Corvette) in fancy writing and positioning the rest around them, and then sketching/inking/painting in the words took 15 hours on its own. The chrome took some time, but I eventually got the hang of mixing the grays and getting the chrome effect going. The middle was a lot harder than I thought, too This whole painting was a big pain in my butt..I'm kinda glad it's out of my hair. I finally have time to do my own artwork now! :D
